Bridgestone Trail video - ABR Festival 2025
Join me on a lap of the Bridgestone Trail at the ABR Festival 2025.
The ABR Festival is possibly the UK’s largest festival dedicated to adventure motorcycling. A weekend camping at Ragley Hall, Alcester. With multiple stages for talks and music, it’s a place for inspiration. There are motorcycle manufacturers offering test rides, riding schools teaching offroad skills, and plenty of vendors selling everything you might need (equipment, tours, food and drink, souvenirs). They also have some on-site trails - the less technical trail is the Bridgestone Trail, 14.4 miles of gravel and dirt tracks for people to tackle with their adventure motorcycle.
Crossing between Spain and Morocco on a motorbike
Are you thinking of crossing from Spain to Morocco and back on your motorbike?
In my Hat Adventure I travelled between Algeciras (Spain) and Tanger Med (Morocco), so this is my experience on a UK-registered motorbike.
A Hat Adventure - Morocco by motorbike
My friend couldn’t make the Wheels and Waves festival in Biarritz. I’d already booked the ferry tickets to and from Spain (they sell out quickly!), but my mind wandered a bit.
Instead of spending an entire week in Biarritz, what else could I do?
Alban Pilgrimage 2025
Saturday was the day of the Alban Festival - where they re-tell the story of St Alban who is recorded as the first British saint and namesake of the town.
They have a procession from St Peter’s Church at the top of the town, stopping at the Museum, and then onto the Cathedral and Abbey of St Albans.

Should I Change My Bike - Or Just Change My Mindset?
This morning, I was out on a walk when I bumped into a fellow adventure motorcyclist. Naturally, we got talking about bikes - and more specifically, his. He rides a Honda Africa Twin, one of the most respected adventure touring motorcycles, but it’s due for a major service. The looming cost had him wondering: should he trade it in for a new bike instead?

I attended the Adventure Bike Rider festival. There were two off-road motorcycle trails in the grounds of Ragley Hall - the less technical one is called the Bridgestone Trail.
